Hello World.  Today is a beautiful Saturday morning that I have never seen before.  Its been some time since I last posted a blog.  My life has been crazy!  Since we visited together last, I have been working tirelessly to fulfill the mission and mandate of what God gave me - and that is a Women's Season of Prayer.  The Season of Prayer has led to the birthing of CTJ Ministries.  CTJ Ministries is currently working to present the Start The Love Conference.  Start The Love Conference is a 3-day  teaching and mentoring weekend for girls 12 to 19 years old.  The bible contains multiple scriptures, that mandate and direct mature women to teach and train "younger women".  Jeremiah 9:17-25; "Teach each of your daughters a wailing and a lamentations"...., Titus 2:3-5 "older women teach the younger women to be sober, good, to love their children and their husbansd, to be chaste, discreet....".  These are not my directions but The Lord's.  The mentoring activities in which all the conference attendees will attend and graduate from is Esther's Court.  This program is a divine directive from the Book of Esther.  In Esther, we find the king searching for a new queen.  The king's court gathered the young virgins and initiated a twelve-month period of preparation for womanhood.  Wow, twelve months.  So, God's question to me was - how do you (the women of God) prepare your young virgins for womanhood.  That was a tough question?  How do you, reach out to the young girls in your life? Your daughters, neighbors, nieces, church members, friend's, goddaughters, students, etc...?  I reach out through Ladies Luncheons that I founded along with my then 13 year old daughter Bailey.  Four years later, we are now launching the first annual Start The Love Conference.  Jeremiah 9:17 "Call for the mourning women and the skillfull wailing women, and tell them to come and make haste because your tears sound an alarm in Zion".  I love this scripture.  I have been working through it for four years now and everyday, every week and I see and learn something new.  Read it for yourself.  This week, July 8th-14th, it is "call for the skillful wailing woman ..." that fascinates me.  As me and my team have been working to meet all of the demands of ensuring that we have done all of the work necessary to create a successful event - we have met with unbelievable challenges.  However, I now get it, this is why God commands to call those who have skills.  Skills that I have learned and gained along my life journey enable me to achieve sucess in more than one method.  Being a "skillfull woman" means that I know and recognize that success can be garnered in more than one way and if one is not working then try another.  The point, is that I don't give up.  The challenges are still mounting as we enter the final leg of this race to the finish line.  The venue is requiring thousand of additional dollars that we don't have, the girls don't want to come (its tuff leading people out of darkness), and we are a staff of 12 women (need I say more on that).  The Good News, FAITH IS OUR VICTORY!!!!  What I know for sure, what I've learned as I have been working for Jesus - He Never Fails.  The real battle is in our hearts.  In our souls.  While this involves thousand of people, in different places and for different reasons.  What reallyis  at stake here, is MY SALVATION.  Phillipians 2:12 "Work out, your own salvation with fear and trembling".  Amen.  See you at the conference.
